View Full Version : tank software or not

I was wondering if any of you use software to log and track maintenance, live stock and events? I've looked around and found reefcon and I know some companies ship software with their controllers, but have not found anything that seems simple (besides my own spreadsheet)

My wifes says I am neurotic and if the chemistry is fine leave it be and if not, just fix it. why waste time writing a log or journal.

What do you use; freeware, controller software or built your own custom excel sheet? or nothing at all?

I have to agree with your wife. There are a few online services that should do that, but I personally do not use anything.

Its hard to beat an excel sheet.

I have my fish purchases since 1984 and actually still have a freshwater rafael catfish that I bought that year.

Hell, it's hard to beat a notebook and pen. Completely customizable, all it takes is a few minutes whenever you want to enter something. Mine comes complete with arrows and scribble marks :)
