Hey all just got done with this Friday. I have the coralife 36w 12" light, an aquaclear, heater, and koralia nano on the way. Think the koralia is too much at 256gph? It's ID is 12x12x9.75" for 6.6 gallons roughly. I had the glass shop cut it and with silicon have about $32.50 in it. It's not the greatest, but it's my first...Got it in my office here at work. What do you think? Needs to be finished out, but it's the beginnings...

Any suggestions?

KILLER bro! I like it a lot.
Is the light on it yet? Is it gonna be hung or on legs?

Thanks Ya'll! It turned out ok.

FishyBiz - the light isn't on yet, it's on it's way. It'll be on legs from coralife.

I'll just have to try the koralia, but the maxi-jet mini in there is too much, it blows the sand everywhere on high.

Reeferoo - I plan on have a few acans as I collect them having some in the home tank and some in this tank. I also plan on a couple of black clowns. A good buddy of mine raises them and is gonna hook me up! They'll be about 1/2" and I'll end up building something like a 15x15x10 later on

Love the tank, super cute! One suggestion I would make though is to keep the aquascape off the glass, it will make keeping it clean SO much easier if you leave a minimum of 2" between rocks and glass. I also tend to like rocks that go a little higher in the tank, but that is just my personal opinion! Can't wait to see it stocked!

Thanks scarlet! That's not actually how I'm keeping the rocks, but I think I will do what you say and keep it away from the glass. I got a few base rocks to put in tomorrow to make it a little taller. I'm also wanting a ton of zoas for it! Forgot to mention that in my previous post.

The K-nano will be a much better flow for that tank as it will be much more dispersed flow than the direct stream of the PH in there now. Should be great for that tank.

Any plans for filteration?

As mentioned above. I've got an aquaclear filter ordered, plus the sand and rock, that's all.

For a nano that should be fine with regular waterchanges. I can't wait to see the new 'scape and all the zoas! :)

Well got the rocks done about five minutes ago. Good? Bad? or Indifferent? Look ok? I wanted it more in the middle, but it's so hard with a tiny tank...

Here's some updated pics! Tell me what you think. So far I have a few zoas, palys, hammer, and some pipe organ type stuff in it. It's turning out pretty cool so far!
