My sebae anemone grew about 20% in 3 days after installing a nano box in my 165.

I would think that a wavebox with some vortechs set to random reef crest mode would make for some very nice flow in a tank. One of the biggest battles we face are "dead spots" in a tank and this would go a long way in eliminating them completely.

It suspends the detrius throughout the tank. It would definately help in the detrius remmoval.

The wave action itself is more of a novelty. Combined with the 2 vortechs though would be an awesome flow set up for a 120.
You will get the random currents of the vortech, mixed in with the gentle sway of the coral polyps under the wave motion.

grew or extended more?
Both. About 10% increase in the base diameter and about 10% increase in the tentacle length.
In my SPS tank, I noticed a big jump in polyp extension in just a couple of hours.

Not to Highjack the thread, but do you think he could get away with a tunze nano wavebox? much cheaper than the 6212.
