Dose anyone feed this? How do you keep the food in the water column? It seems that alot of the product floats on the surface where my corals cant get it? I use a baster to gently dust my corals but it just floats to the surface and the corals get very little of it? Are there any tricks?

I assume youre talking about the freeze dried. The frozen is much better. Try soaking the freeze dried.

Yes it is the freeze dried. How long does it need to soak? It seems like it just floats on the surface and when I eventually turn on my pumps the filter picks it all up.

Is this the frozen cyclopeez or the freeze dried or flake. I use the flake and I put it in a small cup and dip it in tank water to wet it and after a couple of minutes I pour it in front of a downward pointing PH and it gets blasted inot the water column. As some of it gets pulled into my Power heads it gets pulverized into very tiny pieces that my corals can eat. Frozen cp does not float in my experience.

floats in mine too, I mix mine with my own recipe of frozen shrimp, squid, blood worms excetra, let it defrost in a cup of saltwater and soak in cyclopeez. I target feed after about 2hrs, mixing it up with a turkey baster, and it still ends up on the surface. Skimmer and overflow usualy take care of it.

I've used the dried powder form of Cyclopeez and it never floated for me.

I take a pinch out and hold it under the water and my fish eat it out of my hand.....
