ballast switch ? pls

I have a Chinese WEIPRO magnetic ballast. I want to switch to an HQI and use radiums.
Question is, are the connectors in the ballast themselves universal? I still need to use my pendants. See pic.

I would think so, at least from an electrical standpoint. 400 watts to 430 or 450 watts isn't that much of a jump.
