Thought this problem would be fixed in latest firmware, I'm getting this several times throughout the day, status screen shows no power loss, but amps will drop to 0, consequentially my skimmer will shut down for 5 min. because I have a power on delay in the code. I emailed Curt last month about it and he didn't know a cause, anybody else having this problem?

The display shows 0 amp but my metal halides, actinics are on and also the power head.

I had a similar event, But mine did it once and never read anything again even though things were on. One of my outlets stayed on when this happened(ATO) :( Luckaly i averted a crash as most of the top off water went on the floor.

Mine does it too..

This EB8 has my CLP, Return and Skimmer pump on it so it should almost never read 0. When everything is on it never goes over 5 amps

My graph looks similar to aiko670.

Really odd. Since it should never read 0 amps

Mine lead to the eb8 having to be sent back after a power cycle it never worked again. Now with the new firmware update i can limit the on time of an outlet like my ATO. Sucks i gotta wait for it to be sent in and repaired.(1-2 weeks) I have confidence it is an isolated incident and bought another eb8 for backup.

Mine was doing this 2-3 times a day till I flashed it with the new beta flash. Havent had a issue since.

I just got a second EB8 yesterday and after I hooked it up I observed this same problem. The current on the original EB now spikes down to 0 periodically even though my return, other devices are running.

Also, I updated to the latest firmware a few days ago, before I added the second EB8

I deleted the display for EB8_3 so now the Apex sees my two EB8's as EB8_4, EB8_5, this shouldn't matter right?

0 current corresponds 100% of the time to when my heater is turned off. The heater is plugged into outlet #1

You should call Neptune support. I had the same problem and Curt had to telnet into the EB8 and recalibrate something. Took 10 min. Solved the problem.
