I've seen much larger versions of these on the rocks at the beach, but they don't seem to move and appear to be part of the rock. This one moves pretty fast. I forget what they are called, and was wondering if they are any risk to coral, specifically lps and sps.

That's a chiton, they are herbivorous so your coral should be safe. You can tell it's a chiton buy the 8 plates on it's back.

Correct they are found all over rocky areas in the tropics.
