Shes eating spectrum on the first day I got her. She was at my petstore for 6 weeks and even though she put a dent in my wallett-$40. She was well worth it. My girlfriend named her Lady Gaga. haha. I dunno about the name. I usually just call it fish. I have always wanted one but have been hesitant due to their picky eating behavior.

Good luck... If you can make it past the two week mark, you should be pretty well set.

If she eating prepared food from the first day then that greatly enhances the chances of it doing good. Id' be more worried if it didn't eat and hide all day.

She ate like 2 spectrum pelates. But whe you think about for such a small fish a spectrum pellot is like a hamburger for us. She was out for about 4 to 5 hours then she went night night. Hope she pops up tom.

Getting a little worried. Havn't seen her all day. The candy hog might be a little agressive. The candy hog is smaller than she is though. I hope she is allright.

dont be alarmed just yet...i had a radiant wrasse that hid from me for a full week before it came out. whenit did come out though it was like it had been there forever and started eating right away.obviously they arent as touchy as leopard wrasses but i wouldnt be alarmed that it hasnt come out just yet. what other fish do you have in the tank?

I have a picture wrasse that I only see in the morning and afternoon, by night time it is always buried in the sand somewhere. Wrasses can hide for extended periods of time, especially when they are new to a tank.

I've had one of these guys in my tank for 2 years now. Despite all I heard and read, it's been one of the easiest fish to care for I've ever had. Eats PE Mysis like it's going out of style and is not shy at all. It even picks at the Nori sheets I put in for the Tang, Angel and Blenny.

Don't be too concerned if you don't see it for a day or two. They will bury themselves in the sand and hide for a day or so when first put in the tank.

Yeah she was out the first day and she ate some food. Now I havn't seen her for a day or two. My only fish that was bugging her was my candy hog and my blue jaw trigger female at first. I am going to get rid of the blue jaw and possibly the candy hog. The candy hog constantly bosses my bannana wrasse. Beautifull fish though.
