When to dose amino acid

I've been running Prodibio for the last month and a half. I dose one vial of Bio Digest and Bioptim on alternating weeks. My phosphates was at 8-9 using a Hanna photometer and last night it read at 4.

Is it ok to start dosing amino acid right now or should I wait until it reaches 0. I plan on using Zeo high concentrate amino acid. Thanks

Wait till it reach something like 0.05.

I have used reef booster with good effects, but seem to get just as good with an extra feeding of Rods or Kent coral accel witch is AA but MUCH cheaper than the more common ones.

Oops sorry. User error. I meant my phosphates is at .04 not 4. How does Reefbooster compare to Zeos aminos? Is it recommeneded that you dose Reefbooster when doing Prodibio or will other brands suffice?

I like zeovit aminos rather than reefbooster, but that's just preference. I think it's cheaper and easier to dose.

Reefbooster is highly concetrate use maybe once a month, turn off your skimmer for about two hour.

I have an almost full bottle of zeovit aminos. Per your suggestion, I'll start dosing in a weeks time

Reefbooster will make you say "Uh-oh" (but with more profanity) as one little vial turns my 90 opaque and my 175 pretty cloudy. You have to turn the skimmer off for about 4-8 hours and you have to be present when you turn it back on just in case it wants to foam.

With Kent AA, it usually will cut the foam. I dose AA during daytime hours once every other weekend for me.

I feed alot due to fishload, carbon dosing and MB7 along with prodibio.
