I am hoping this one will split because its happy where it is but when its completly opened its about the size of a volley ball, and I only have a 120 Gallon tank. Any way to help them split safely?

Supposedly a 50% water change will help them split. Mine took 4 years to split. :D

I no longer have any BTAs, but my last one was about 15" when I sold it -- and it would split regularly.

Here is an old shot of it -- it is on the right side of the tank (( 75 )), the left side isn't fully open in this shot.
