Either:

ASM G3 w/ sedra 5000 pump

or

Vertex GII In-250 Pinwheel.

or any other suggestions. Must be able to fit inside a

Trigger Systems Ruby Sump 36x15x16
which has the middle section for the skimmer at: 12.25 x14.5

I have a AGA 180gallon aquarium. Currently FOWLR but may go reef
in future.

Thanks,

Ive just upgraded to the vertex in80 and love it. It produces a ton of bubbles and pulls out the same amount of skimmate in 3 days that my other skimmer took a week to do.

I have a Vertex IN 280. Great skimmer.

I have a hard time recommending asm due to the price and build quality. They can skim well but you will find that a vertex skims better. ASM is made of molded plastic not cast acrylic.
