They have a huge school of them at the Aquarium of the Pacific, in what is probably at least a 1000 gal display. I've never seen them in home aquaria...I imagine it could be done, but would be difficult. Based on the reading I've done on anthias (google old back issues of Reefkeeping for some great articles by Schultz), I think your best shot would be acquiring a group of 12-15 at once (a large school is needed to disperse aggression), setting up a large QT that can accommodate 3-4x/daily feedings (which you'll need in the display too). IME the 3-4x daily feedings can be a challenge as most anthias won't accept flake/pellet, and will only eat frozen food (although I'm trying to devise an auto feeding system with a dosing pump and arcti-pods).

Really? Are they new? I don't remeber seeing PQs there last time I was there...

I have a 360g tank I want to keep few anthias, the ones that i like the most are the PQ anthias but feeding frozen food 3x4 a day will be hard for me,I think that i will go with the barlets they will eat pellets and flakes thanks guys...

Beware the PQ, I have tryed to keep them 3 times with no sucess. The first would never eat anything. The other 2 I got them to eat good, but after about a month+- I found them dead. The only reason I tryed the 2nd two was my LFS traded them to me for a big bag of cheato.
I now have 3 bartlett's and love them. They are much more active then the PQ's ever were. The bartletts will atack any food that hits the water.

The only long term success Ive seen with these is in a 20,000g reef tank. That should put it into perspective.

Most reports of people on this forum who have tried to keep them say they won't eat and die within about a month.
