Are they really reef safe fish or could they grow too fast and start feeding on the sps,and softies and smaller fishes in the tank?

They're usually reef safe, and don't have much interest in corals or other fish. Every once in a while, you can get a more aggressive one, but it's uncommon.

Agreed. Your SPS and softies should always be safe. But a small fish, esp. a little blue chromis might be slightly at risk...

Thanks for the info guys,good thing that he is still a juvenile but just love the character of these guys and the way they swim through the water,bites me alot though when I am aquascaping,thinking its food time. I onced caught one in the wild and would not stop biting me either when I cupped him in my hands,he was being slam by waves along the shore when I was vacationing in the philippines. Agressive little buggers ha:)
