Hi,
Not sure if this is an LPS or SPS so I posted here. Closest thing I found to it is Palytigra? or is it something else? Thanks for ID and placement info (light and flow?)

Not sure, That what I thought originally but then I found a coral that's very close to it Palitigra (SP?) which I believe is an SPS? Looks a bit more vivid in reality than in thepic as the green is a bitmore pronounced.

Looks like something in the Goniastrea genus.

I would ask in the LPS forum, but it needs medium light and flow, and you can try to spot feed it at night when the small clear tenticles are out, here's mine--kinda blurry

It's Platygyra, perhaps sinensis, though it's nearly ipossible to nail down a species.

Thanks for your help.
Looks very similar to the one linked as it grows in thin sheets as the mother colony of the one I got does. Still the one you posted could be following theshape of the rock it's on.will still post on the LPS forum asyo usuggest for confirmation but I think you got it right.

Checking pics of those online is also close to it which brings back the confusion...
guess I'll try to get a picture of the mother colony next week when I'm back home and post which should make it easier.
Thanks
