Girgle

My overflow box does an almost constant girgleing sound that is rather iritating :furious:. is this normal for a begging set up or can I fix it. The overflow looks something likehttp://www.melevsreef.com/prime_overflow.html

You might have to adjust the height of the PVC with the holes depending on the flow rate of your overflow

There are various mechanism for making overflows quieter. The Durso standpipe is one such idea. There's also the Hofer gargle buster. Google should turn up some products.

It fixed all my gurgle noises and is easily adjustable when needed.
