I've down loaded the free program on line and after many hours I still can not communicate . Does anyone know if you have to buy the $75 program to communicate with the PC?

The Apex does not require any additional program to communicate with the PC. It has a built in web server and, once configured, you can access it directly in your web browser.

My understanding is that the Apex won't work with aquanotes. However ther is software slated for the future.
