Im trying to figure out the PAR amount for the Ushio 14k bulb but I can't find any info on it on Sanjays website. I was told that Ushio is the same thing as EVC and use the EVC par results since EVC is Ushio in Europe. Is this true? Is EVC = Ushio?

Anyone know what the PAR results would be for a 14k Ushio on a 400w Galaxy? Im wondering if it would be a significant increase from my 400w Radium and it would be worth the switch.

Thanks for the help.

i cannot offer anything on the par but i know that Ushio is not EVC. Ushio bulbs are made in the same factory that makes giesmann and blv bulbs in Germany. EVC bulbs are made somewhere in Asia. ppl have said the the Ushio bulbs are the same as the Giesemann, i have used both and the 2 bulbs are really close in performance but IMO Giesemann is a nicer bulb.
