Device not shutting off

I have a couple of dosing pumps from bulkreefsupply that I am controlling with an Apex. However, they don't shut off properly. The status on the outlet will say "off" but the device will still be running. If I unplug it and plug it back in, it will stay off.

I think I remember reading about problems with low current devices not shutting off. What is the easiest solution to this?

Which outlet on the EB8? They should be used on ports 4 or 8; small pumps don't like the triac ports and work best on a relay port.
