I've found flukes on my yellow tang. I don't know where they came from since I haven't added fish in some time, my only guess is they came on a coral recently added. I was able to net the tang last week and did a freshwater dip and a lot of flukes came off. A few days later the fish looked fine but I noticed a few days ago that they are back. I've tried several times to catch him again but can't. I don't know what to do now. I'm afraid the other fish will catch them if they came back to the tang they must be in the tank. I've read about medicating the tank but I'm leary about that. Currently I have a 150g reef with 2 clowns (no anenome), 2 tangs, 1 royal gramma, 1 kardinal, hermits, snails, several clams, a feather duster, zoo's, paly's, mushrooms, gsp, kenya trees, anthellia, xenia, candy cane's, and a brain.

What should I do?

You can try prazi pro. Supposed to be reef safe. I use it in my FO tank with zero issues. I heard zenia doesnt like it but doesnt always kill it.

Check this out. A very good read i thought. After reading that i think it explained a few of my sudden die offs.

That link doesn't seem to work. I heard of the prazipro product. I fear that I have some things that could die if I use it. Looking at my list, how do any of you feel?

Last one worked. A good read all the way through.

I have used P-Pro in my DT. The only problem I had was getting it out of the tank. I did lots of water changes and the skimmer went nuts for about a week. Skimmed really wet and created lots of micro bubbles for a while. I solved the micro bubble problem by having my skimmer return water flow into a sock. After about 2 weeks I everything was back to normal.

I dose my tank every time I get a new fish. I've dosed prazi pro three times in the last month. 0 loses from it. I'd remove your feather duster to be safe, but to give you a general idea of what I keep:

~50 different sps
Crocea clams
10+ species of fish
Multiple euphyllia
Kenya trees (refugium)
Peppermint shrimp
Pistol Shrimp
Chaeto
Limpets, fighting conchs, ceriths, etc...
And a lot more... I'd do it if I were you. And make it routine.
