I am on the fence between these 2 salts. I was using Reef Crystals, but do not like the residue it leaves behind. Does anybody have a recommendation between these 2? Thanks, Dave

I read a lot of good things about the Coralife salt.

I have been using it for 3 years now. The big 3 are nice and consistent. The Ca is a bit on the high side, mixes at 480-500 for me. My big 3 stay steady with no need to supplement. Just regular weekly water changes keep things good.
Ca- 480 Alk- 7.5 Mg 1380
Haven't used BW yet, heard good things though.

I would use the Coralife if I had to pick between the 2. Lots of calcium and magnesium. Just keep an eye on your alkalinity.

sounds good, in some testing done a couple years ago the coralife was to me the most consistent. And it is cheaper than BW, too...
thanks, guys...

I use coralife and the calcium is fairly high, mine tests to 520. Alk is 8. I don't have a magnesium test kit yet. Oh and I do use ro/di water.

Go with Tropic Marin its a little more money but worth it less dosing

I've used coralife for about 8 years. Never used anything else. Works fine for me. No bad batches in that time. If I had to pick between the two I'd go with Coralife only because it has a longer track record which has been consistent and positive. in my experience.
