ICE CAP T5-HO Bulbs

I am in the market for new bulbs to replace the originals that came w/ my 8 bulb Current USA fixture. I have used Geismann bulbs in the past but they are pricey. I was wondering if anyone has used the UVI bulbs that are being sold by Ice Cap. They seem resonably priced and easily available by my LFS but he doesnt recommend them and pushes my to the Geismann. Im afraid this is just motivated by the profit margin and not a quality issue. I am wondering if anyone is using them and what they think of them. Thanks.

i doubt there is more profit in the geismanns. uvl bulbs are good but most i know swear by the geismanns. they are a bit different so with a 8 bulb configuration you could use a little of both and really play with the colors. always fun.

Any particular combination used w/ the Geismann bulbs. I would like a bluer look to my lights.
