Im planning on building a calcium reactor and I have a couple of questions.

First being, Im planning on using DJ88's Plan, I was planning on using normal 1/4" Acrylic is this going to be ok? or do I need Cell cast?

Can I go too big on the reactor? I have a 120 Gallon Tank with a 50 gallon sump. The DJ88 plan is a big beast, seemingly overkill for my set up. Is this ok?

How Much GPH Should I have for the Recirculation pump? set this on the actual size of the plans, I can figure it out if I downsize from there.

I suppose thats it

Thanks!

for those that dont know about the plans, Here they are

I looked at this reactor about 5 years ago when I was looking at putting a reactor on my 120 gallon reef. I decided to make my own and this is what I ended up with. Click here (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1745287) It kept my sps growing and I had alot of them in my reef.

I built a version of this using a couple of Berlin Skimmers. It is still in use and is installed in a 375 gallon system.

Here is the link http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1293472 The build thread is no longer active, if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Basically the diminsions are 6" x 18", everything else is fairly self explainatory... It has worked great on my 120 from the start. You could scale the DJ88 to something similar.
