For all that converted from MH to T5

For all those who converted from using MH to T5 in the same aquarium, was there a significant drop in temperature? I need to lower the temperature of my aquarium by 2 degrees. Do you think converting from MH to T5's will do the trick. I really would like to avoid adding extra cooling fans, as this will further contribute to cooling evaporation. Lets hear your thoughts

I did the opposite to drop temp. I had 8-54watt T5 and had a higher temp than I am now with the MH that I traded my T5 fixture for. I would recommend getting a Ranco dual temp controller if you dont have reef controller. At least that'll turn off your heater and turn on a fan until it gets to your desired temp.

By how much did your temperature increase? Are you running less total watts under your MH system in comparison to your previous T5 system? Thanks for the input!
