So I have not had much luck with my past acrylic experiences- cracking or burning / melting with cutting. anyone know what you use- table saw band saw, grinder, dremel? what blades? and what do you glue it with?
thanks

I cut mine with a router, get perfect cuts everytime with no need for a joiner to get a good edge. Wastes more material though.

a table saw with a 80 tooth carbide blade and your cuts will be nice.you glue it with weld on #'s 3,4,16,40,42.most people use #4,#16,or #40,i prefer #4 for small stuff like sumps and #40 for larger stuff like tanks.

I cut mine with a table saw using a blade with a 0 degree rake, tripple chipped, with 80 teeth. Then I use a jointer to clean it up. I am going to try to use a router to clean up the edges... (one less tool to have space for)

if at all possible use a router mounted in a table for best results....along with mcbond or weldon #4 they both yield great results..
