MH Buld question -I know its been asked but can't find it.

I need to replace my 400W 20K bulbs. I run a PFO ballast and was wondering if I can use any brand buld(i.e. eBay, Ushio, Hamilton) or do I need to use the German bulb? Can't find the thread regarding this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Most bulb manufacturers list what kind of ballast is recommended. I know Ushio has it on their site.

I'm pretty sure I can use anyone I want. But it's just the cost that I'm most concerned about. I guess it's the nature of the beast when you have dual 400W bulbs. Thanks for the response. Go VW!
