Dang! Been reading about the Hammers, feisty little critters! I have a leather about 5 inches away from it that is not doing to well, maybe it's getting stung?
I'm receiving an order of about 15 frags on Wednesday. Mostly Acros , Zoos and Chalice. Should I get rid of the hammer?

Just put it low and away from everything else. I wouldn't get rid of it, but then again I love euphylia. I have a whole tank devoted mostly to it.

Thanks for the advise. Will it do ok on the sand bed with MH lighting?

Yes with 250 watt it will be no problem.

+5 with what Spleify said. I never get rid of euphyllia!
That's a nice color morph as well.
And sandbed should be just fine for them. I've seen them under shaded spots under just a couple VHO tubes. Growing fine. I have mine under 4 T5's but the reflector is lousy, so I'd say it's less light than you'll be giving it.
