Well, I've had my two clownfish and a sixline wrasse in my 20 gallon tank for about 6 months now, and unfortunately over the past week I have been witnessing a lot of tank aggression from the clowns towards the wrasse. Yesterday the poor guy had about half of his tail nipped off of him, so today I brought him to my favorite LFS to get adopted out. My husband thought I should just let the fish work it out, but the new behavior of the clowns did not make me feel it was ever going to work out, and be fair to the wrasse. I feel so bad that this did not work out and absolutely loved him so much. If I ever get a larger tank one day I would love to have another wrasse, but I think this was the most humane thing to do. In all my eager newbieness I truly believed I had a match made in heaven, but you really can't change inborn behavior. I feel so sad tonight. :sad2:
