How long should I run my skimmer in vinegar water before it is ready to go in the tank?

I run mine ten to fifteen minutes. Should clean it just fine.

I think I let mine run about a 1/2 hour before rinsing it and installing in my sump. During that 1/2 hour I also rubbed it down with a cloth. So actual run time might have been closer to 15 minutes.
All you are trying to do is clean out any oils on the material from the manufacturing process.
