I have a 90 gal AGA reef ready. I lost my lubbocks wrasse a couple of months ago to carpet surfing, and am ready to try another wrasse. I had the back 2" covered with egg crate, with the other 3 sides covered by a canopy, but that wasn't enough (obviously). What do other people do to cover there tanks to protect jumpers?

Window frame screen with bird netting is supposed to work well and won't block as much light as egg crate. I just finished making one of these last night.

It's not hard to make the mesh tops linked above. I made covers for all my tanks. Make sure you get small netting like 1/4" or the fish will still find a way through it. So far mine has kept in my anthias and purple tilefish just fine.

if you can't find smaller you can also double up the netting.
