I need help with my overflow. I have a Eshopps 1000. I have a ball valve on the return pipe going to my sump. My problem is that I'll get the intake and overflow adjusted where there is no gurgling from the overflow, then after about 3-4hrs its gurgling again. If the return pump is unplugged and then restarted the tank fills up like the water is gonna overflow on the floor.

Any ideas/input will be greatly appreciated.

Using an Aqualifter air pump may solve your siphon problems during startup -

As for the gurgling, Open up the ball valve completely on the drain to your sump and adjust flow with only the valve on the return side.

Where is the valve? Return is pump to display. Drain is display back to sump. You should not be using a ball valve on the drain to restrict drain flow.

the ball is on the drain (going to the sump)

You should not restrict the drain line into the sump. You are asking for wet floors.

+1, do not restrict the drain flow, it will flood in power outages, better to restrict the output of your return pump if you have too much flow from it and for gurgling, research durso stand pipes, they basically silense your drain.
