does anyone have any experience with these? How do they compare to the phosban 150s? What is the flow like? Does it go from the bottom up through the media also?

thanks

BRS reactor is bascially a RO canister converter to be an reactor. Both BRS or the TLS 150 works in the same principle with an upflow. Or if you run carbon, just flip the flow, instead of flowing up make it flow down(pushing down) on the carbon. Does that make sense?

they are great reactors, easy to change out the GFO and carbon. I have the dual reactor from BRS and love it.

Great reactor, I have the single and it works great. I haven't tried the Phosban reactors but they look similar to another reactor type I've used. I feel like a lot of reactors are sort of cheaply made and don't seem to use high quality hose connections and seem to be more complicated than they need to be. I really like the components BRS uses and they're pretty standard fittings so you're not necessarily tied to BRS for replacements etc which I really like.

Does the BRS use john guest or barbed fittings?

I have both tlf's and BRS's - for a smaller system, the tlf is fine. the brs reactors hold a little more media i think. JG fittings as well
