A year ago I found a group of inter-breeding Centropyge: argi and aurantonotus. Their "rock pile" was destroyed by TS Omar. Was back in the same area today and only found argi. Counted 17 in a 3 ft. square area. They live on the dumpiest part of the reef that looks no where near as nice as all your tanks. Very little living coral around them and they seem to pick algae all the time. Hard to photograph these guys, but also look at their surroundings.

Poor little guys, they can hang out in my tank then. Whereabout and how deep did you see them?

This group was at 20 ft in ruble rock before the reef even starts. It looks like a gofer village with Pygmies darting in and out of holes in the bottom debris.
The dive site is Porto Marie in Curacao.

You can see a second one in the hole.

I love my Centropyge Argi, great pictures. Would love to get a argi x aurantonotus hybrid.
