well its been a week since my 75gal trafer into my 220gal
I saved all my LR(150lbs) from the 75 and even got (150lbs) from a freinds established tank.

all my levels are perfect but some Polyps and zoas that are not opening that much and caps only bleaching. Sps and other coral looks good.They did great in my 75gal but when I upgraded to 220gal with alot more flow and they seem to look bad. I even moved them to were there is not much flow and the same.

I have 2-vortechs mp40 on one side due to may access and a 2-panworld 250 but also serving skimmer,fuge,carbon reactors,chiller so total flow from tank from these two pumps is about 2000gph
amonia=0
nitrite=0
nitrate=0
salinit=1.25
alk=8.5
calcuim=420
mag=1300
ph=8.17
phosphate=0

Lighting upgraded from 2-250w MH w/t5 to 3-400w Mh w/vho

open to all suggestings

I still have to aquascap my rock this weekend so
see the 220gal below

The corals could be in shock from the increased lighting. You need something to filter out some of the light and get your corals used to the new intensity. Also you could place your corals lower in the tank or under a ledge so they wouldn't get as much light.

Are they declining or just simply don't look the way they did in the smaller tank?

they look like when I have no lights on at night

What I mean is, did they open up at all in the new tank and are now staying closed or how they never "looked right" in the new tank.

also, how wide is the tank?

they open here and there in the new tank w/MH, never open with actinics?

Also, make sure that those corals are not subjected to direct current (i.e. from a powerhead). I have seen many setups where a "current-loving" coral has a powerhead blasting right at it.

I have these corals on the bttom with little flow now and same problem?

Maybe the light change and flow is messing them up
