Removing polyps

Need help removing polyps due to over populated in tank.
How can I remove it or kill it? It starting to grow on some of my orange cap.

Razorblade and toothbrush. Obviously use the toothbrush only on areas you want it gone. I would take it out of the tank to do this so as to not release toxins from the scrubbing into your water. Wears gloves and eye/mouth protection too.

Not sure what type of polyps you're talking about.

I've been trying to kill a ton of palythoa (button polyps etc) with little luck using kalk, vinegar and Joes Juice injections. I've heard that Aiptasia X has worked for some. Its my next step.
