I just added a couple of catsharks to my mixed tank. They are both kinda laying low and look like they are having trouble breathing. I acclimated them over an hour long period. Is there anything I can do to give them a boost. Water parameters are fine and all other fish are great. Also, how aggressive are these guys?:blown:

I would say just let them settle in. It sounds like you did everything right...

What kind of catsharks are they? Whats the temp of the tank?

black banded cat sharks and the temp is 78 degrees. i'm happy to say they look like they're doing great today. A little shy and someone told me not real fans of bright light. They come out when my MH's go out and just have the blue actinics on.

They mainly hunt crustaceans and small fish at night and lay low/hide during the day. Mine would come out during the day when I was feeding and that was it, otherwise you'd only see them out swimming at night.
Best of luck

Here are a couple pics. Until I get my security tokens figured out this is the only way I can load photos

I threw in some chopped up shrimp and had a bit of a feeding frenzy lol. This was nothing compared to when the shark got ahold of a crab I brought home from the beach. Between the wrasse, tang and sharks the crab lasted about 10 sec

As far as adding PICS go. I use Photobucket and then type in the Image code on here to add the PICS. Nice Sharks too. I had thought about getting one since my LFS was trying to sale me one of those same Sharks for $40 to go into my 240 but i run a BB tank so I didn't get it.

Nice sharks! Watch them with that Clown trigger though, Triggers tend to not get along with sharks.
