I've been cycling a barebottom 500g tank w/ 400# live rock for six months w/ one tilapia filet every other week, 8 chromis, and no skimmer.

Thanksgiving I did a complete water change and added ~50 SPS and removed about 200# live rock.

Today I added about 14 large anthias. :rolleye1:

Tomorrow I plumb and turn on the skimmer, sump and a carbon filter.

I know this was dumb but if the ammonia starts to rise is there anything I can/should do?

Is there an ammonia level at which I should move the SPS to my overcrowded frag tank?

Thanks for any info!

Instant Ocean Bio-spira...I set up my 175 Oct 14th 2008, put my first fish in 7 days later and the first sps in a week after that. They weren't happy but they are now....Patience is easy with an old tank
