View Full Version : Blue Devils breeding

Woke up and saw this. Both fish in rock cave with ledge. Only 2 Blue devils in tank so they paired off. Hope I see some eggs soon. Is this common with this species? Guess I need to start doing some research on these.

Oops my bad, these are Yellowtail Damsels, Chrysiptera parasema, a good reef fish.

Only fish I have are 2 yellow tail damsels that breed pretty regular. Thought it was pretty cool at first but the fry grow to about 5 or 6 mm then swim head first into the rocks and die. Have hundreds of dead fish sticking out of the rocks, have to use a toothbrush to get them off. Nice pictures though.
