Mag. dosing question?

I'm looking for a thread on how to add mag. solution.
I just mixed BRS 3 lb. jug mag. chlor. which was close to 7 .25 cups and
.75 cup og mag. sulfate in gallon of DI water, now my question is how to add this? my sump, through ATO or maybe a baster and how much at once.

The standard recommendation is up to 100 ppm per day. I just dump it into the tank. :)
