Where is everyone getting their holding tanks from?
I want to move into mixing my own salt, then start using the top-off to add water and change water.
Any dealers or just use plastic trash cans...

The GHL forum seems like a strange place to ask this question but...
If you want to go cheap then use a rubbermaid trash can. If you can spend a little more then this is a much better option: http://www.gototanks.com/Vertical-Tanks.aspx

Your right about the odd forum...
I use it for top-offs right now and wanted to add the salinity probe to begin using it for water changes. So, I was looking for some advice on their set-ups and storage tanks for the mixed salt water and RO/DI water.
I want the controller to do the work while I am away and monitor it through the webserver coming in the P3.
Thanks

I ordered two 250 gallon tanks from tank-depot.com ... Freight will be a bit cheaper if you can talk your LFS into taking delivery for you and then you can pick it up from them.

I am trying to automate water changes as well. I have a ii ex controller. Do I need to upgrade? What storage system did you go with?

I am still putting together my supplies for the project.
My set-up is different due to the storage area for the water is 30' from my tank. So, I need to get the right pumps and sensors from the tanks to make it al work.
I'll keep you in tune to it...
Please post any set-ups that maybe out there...

I am working with a solenoid company to make auto shut off valves for RO units so people can have direct supply for top off without the need for RO storage containers. I have requested 12V DC which I feel is a cheaper option keeping the price down.
More details in the new year.
