i just got a new clown and my older clown is way darker than the new one is he sunburnt from my lights i have like 220 watt t5 in a 46 gal aquarium?

No, he could be a different type or age.
Look at the Pupils and are the Black lines sharp or smudged.

There are many factors that can effect clown color. lighting is one of them. I wouldn't consider it being sun burnt though.

a lot of clowns continue to develop color for up to a year from when they are born. Likely the older one is just more colored from age.

Just so you know, T5s do not emit UV radiation. At least not any T5s you're likely to use for an aquarium.
