Hi,

I have a few questions regarding usage.
I have a 120 gallon net system volume. Mostly SPS with a moderate bioload.

1. How much NP pellets should I use for my system?
2. Will 500ml fit in a Phosban 150 reactor?
3. How much flow gph, through the reactor?
4. I currently am running Carbon and GFO through reactors, should I continue to run both while using NP Pellets?

Thanks
Mark

The ratio of pellets used is 50ml - 250ml per 26gal of water. I would start on the low side at first, then increase once you start seeing results with it if needed. The water flow needs to be enough that there are no dead spots inside the media clump. The 500ml of media you are looking at would be fine in a small phosban reactor.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Jeremy,

Would a maxi-jet 1200 work?

can you mix it with the carbon in the same reactor?

A Maxi-jet 1200 would work just fine, however you'll most likely need to put a ball valve on it so it can be throttled back some.

From what I am reading from user experiences the carbon usage along with this product is debateable. Personally, I would still run carbon, but just not in the same chamber.
