Now a Dying Wrasse

So I woke up to my only fish a yellow wrasse dying on the sand bed. I posted about a gash on him last night but he was acting ok now I wake up and hes breathing hard on the bottom. Scooped him up put him in a breeder net. I have to go to work now and I assume he will be dead when I get home. But if hes alive is there anything I can do it really saddens me to lose this guy. Don't know how he got the gash either I only have a small CUC.

is your system establish? do you have a mantis in your system and it might be possible that he was speared by a tang.

No mantis that i know of but its possible. How would the mantis spear him if he burrows in the sand? I have no other fish though just CUC
