So far my tank has been doing very well. up for 4 months. got rid of the red slimey cyno algae. have 5 fish, about 15 turbos and about 20 hermits. Starting to notice some hair algae. not too bad, doesn't seem to be growing or spreading much. But I'd like it gone. I read somewhere they were dosing Vodka? Any easy way to get rid of the stuff? All my water parameters are in check...

I had a severe hair algae problem for a long time. It is usually contributed to by water or in my case water and flow. I changed my filters in my RO and added to K4's for flow and the problem is almost non existent now. Good luck and welcome to the addiction!!
