Will macros in my fuge starve macros in my tank

How do I balance that? Thinking of maybe a cryptic fuge instead of one with algae. Thoughts? Will also have a skimmer. Planning to feed pretty heavy.

It's impossible to predict what will happen in any particular tank. Would give algae on tank a head start and according to nutrient levels in tank, add algae to refugium later. If tank macros look ok, stay on track. If they do not do good after adding Chaeto to refugium, start trimming more Chaeto out until the right balance is reached.
