Well i wish i could use a cammera/video cammera but my smaller than 1/2 dollar bigger than a quarter hippo tang thinks its a gsm clown fish. the hippo has taken up residence in the home(shell) of the pair of gsm clowns and acts just like a clown its funny to watch as i now have a blue clownfish, the pair of gsm clownfish dont even pay it any attention but of course they are not old enough to lay eggs yet and the hippo is on day 2 of the tank...

well that's very interesting. I would like to see how the relationship continues. I don't think that fish are domesticated enough yet to accept other fish as of their own type. I think once your 2 clowns start to fight for dominance, and one is decided, I think the tang may be run out of town.

chiefsurfer.. the clowns have established which is the boss, i have had them for about 10 months and the female is about 3x the size of the male bought at the same time as the two smallest of the tiny clowns in the tank (iam assuming they are not old enough to lay eggs because they havent yet) i just think its funny how the hippo is acting like a clown the way he darts in and out back and forth side to side like the clownfish.. i wholey expect that sooner or later the female gsm will run him out as she will run out a 7-8 inch clown trigger, a 9-10 inch sailfin tang and a 5-6 inch asfur angel if they even get close to her shell

wow, misunderstood how long you have had the clowns. Very interesting that she has allowed your hippo close. Very cool, i would love to see a video.

ill see if my wife can take some video tonight when she gets home from work..me and cammeras dont get along what so ever

What kind of clowns are they? I had a maroon and man it was mean.
