Any suggestions for a power strip that has some screw holes that can be sued to mount to the side wall of a cabinet? I'm striking out with my searches for one.

I see a wall mount power strip that plugs directly into the wall, but that is not what I'm looking for.

I figure someone here has one they like.

Thanks for any help.

I did the same thing, but I used 2-sided tape. going on 2 years and nothing's fallen yet. 3M makes some sticky stuff.

Most typical 6 outlet power strips have mounting holes on the back of them. Some can only be mounted vertically while others can be mounted both vertically and horizontally. Make sure the head of your screws will fit in the holes before you try to mount it and leave the head of the screw sticking out about 1/8" from the wall when you screw them in to hang your power strip.

hmmm...maybe the ones I have have the holes on the bottom of them. I'll have to check that. I know I used to have one that had the holes for mounting with screws on each end rather than holes to "hang" the strip.

Thanks for the replies. And yes, 3M does make some sticky stuff. I'll keep that in mind.

get a dj switch instead of powerstrip.

each plug has its own switch.

What frenchie posted is what i have too. It is an excellent choice. It also helps when anyone unfamiliar with your stuff has to maintain it if you are away or there is an emergency.
I am completely unfamiliar with my husbands set ups, so say his skimmer goes crazy I can just hit his skim switch to shut it off til he can fix it himself.

you can get the DJ Power Strip at Guitar Center too. Likely to heavy to tape though.

I bought the cheap strips from lowes. 15 amps. I unscrewed the screws on the front side. Drilled the holes bigger and used new screws and mounted to my cabinet walls. I measured to get the right screws so it did not go through the wood on outside.

Will post a pic when I get home from work. I have 5 mounted

I wanted to use the music center outlet but would not fit my cabinet.

I like the dj strip idea as well. That will be the next thing I use. The power strips with holes in the back are a PITA.

Those are slick.
Where did you buy them?

Amazon - $14 ea and free shipping (of course I did have to purchase a GPS to get to the free shipping level).

I saw one there, but it looked as if it had the plugins in the back.
Do you have a model number?
