Hi,

I have recently bought an osmolator here in OZ.
It has worked perfectly for about 2 weeks.
I came home from work today to find the water level over the sensor and overflow mechanism and of course the alarm blaring.

The return was dripping into the sump, so not flowing...

Any suggestions.

Hoping it's not screwed as I am going away for Christmas and won't have a replacement here in time if it is.

Cheers
Brendan

It sounds like it is siphoning, the top off hose must be routed up to the aquarium, only the sensors mount in the sump, as shown in the manual. The only way you can safely pump to the sump is if the reservoir is below the sump.
