It's kinda a bummer about the posts part. I understand the being a member for 90 days. Honestly though I will spend hours just reading threads and learning a ton, but I don't have the experience yet to really feel like I can contribute more than "nice tank" type posts.

Surely you have lots of questions or you can document your progress with your new tank and keep us all informed of your build.

Most questions I have I search and look through the stickies. You would be amazed at how much stuff has already been asked if you would only look. lol I could document my tank build, but I rescued a 120 gallon from a coworker who decided not to do upkeep anymore. So the tank build is more of a slow process of getting it back to good health.

+1 the Craiglist idea. There are some programs than can automatically search Craigslist as well to make that easier.

You actually only need to have 50+ meaningful posts to view. The 90 days is the limitation on posting. Not sure if this is intentional, but I can confirm that this is how it currently works.
