Need opinion

I have been quoted on a new set up which will include an acrylic tank stand sump, etc.

The protein skimmer will be a hang on the sump Pacific Coast Model PS-200 rated for a 200 gallon tank. My tank will only be 75 gallons.

Has anyone had any experience with this or any other Pacific Coast protein skimmers.

Also the package ha been put together by Fish Tanks Direct; anyone have any dealings with this company.

PCI skimmers are either gen 1 octopus skimmers or like the coralife skimmers. See if you can get a photo. If it's like the coralife skimmer, not worth it.

Just curious as to why they said to use a HOB skimmer if you are going to have a sump?

edit-sorry I read it wrong. No experience with that skimmer
