I was planning on purchasing a couple of these but I wanted to get some input on how they perform. I plan on mounting my monti caps on them.

Can they be mounted to the overflow?
Will the magnets hold up to the weight of the caps?

I have several, and I love them. The magnets in the rock as well as those used to attach the rocks are encapsulated, so you can use them in wet areas. I have a curved overflow, so I can't use them on mine, but I have used frag-mags on my overflow with no problems. How thick is your glass? That will have a lot to do with how much weight they can hold. On my 55 they held a good bit of weight. On my 150, the glass is 1/2" so they will hold a little less. I'd think they could support a pretty good sized cap depending on your glass thickness.
